Maz Jobrani: Did you hear the one about the Iranian-American?

Hey everyone,
So I was looking at some ted talks and i happen to find a video of Maz Jobrani. You probably haven't heard of him. He is a very famous stand up comedian in the middle east. He is a member of THE AXIS OF EVIL COMEDY TOUR which is a stand-up comedy tour featuring Middle Eastern comedians Ahmed Ahmed, Aron Kader and Maz Jobrani, with special guests Dean Obeidallah, Won Ho Chung, and Nick Youssef. The tour's name is derived from a speech by US President George W. Bush which designated Iraq, Iran, and North Korea, as the "Axis of Evil".
The Tour started in November 2005. The group jokes about terrorist groups along with being Middle-Eastern in America. Kader and Obeidallah are Palestinian Americans, Ahmed is Egyptian American, Jobrani is Iranian American, and Chung is a Korean raised in Jordan. On March 10, 2007 they were given their own Comedy Central Special. The group's current events sense of humor has attracted media attention. They have been interviewed by CNN, NPR, and Time among others.

I hope you enjoy the video. If you like it and you want to see more stand up comedies, you can go on yourtube and search for Maz Jobrani or Ahmed Ahmed.
AND DON'T FORGET TO COMMENT !!!!

What is BlogThis! ? - Blogger Help

What is BlogThis! ? - Blogger Help

Dear all,

Welcome to the ONIM Professional Communications class blog.

The link above is a useful shortcut to put in your browser menu bar... (The page explains how to do it.)

It lets you add a good web page (or a link to a TED talk) to the blog really easily-- in less than 20 seconds (or perhaps a minute or two when you add a note to explain why you chose it.)

Of course you first have to be a "contributor/member" of the blog... you should have all received an invitation.... hint, hint ;-) ) Let me know if you need me to send you a new invitation. Once you accept your invitation I'll make you an administrator of the blog...

see you soon

james

PS:

The address of the blog should be at the bottom of this email: http://onim2010.blogspot.com/

You're welcome to go back to the blog and leave a comment.

(And you don't have to be a contributing member to leave comments -- anyone can do that.)
